Rolled into Las Vegas Thousand Trails on Sunday the 21 st of Dec and got all set up. Being in Vegas the first night we headed down to the famous Fremont Experience light show. It was AMAZING…

Then there was Elvis…

He put on a  great show and there was another band at the front which was rockin’ out and were dressed like the group “Poison” and they were really good too.

Then we went into some of the Casino

Then there was the OTHERS…

and some I need NOT mention…. Girls wearing, Well almost NOTHING and dancing in the crowd. But all in all it was great fun. Before heading back we went into the Fremont Casino to play a little. We found these neat and different 25 cent machines that made funny little noises when you played and to my surprise after just playing a very short time and only on a $20 bill… I hit a jackpot of $625.00 on a Double-Triple Diamond… 1 double diamond and 2 triple diamonds on the pay line, which paid 2500 coins. WoW Lucky Me…
We had some Facebook friends, JoAnn and Terry Scharfenberg pull into the park  on Tuesday the 23rd and we had them over for coffee Wed night and made planes to meet up for a Christmas Dinner at the Boulder Station Casino. They had a great Christmas Dinner buffet and the conversation was really good. On Friday we hit the ground walking all along the Las Vegas Strip, I think we must have walked for 20 miles… We got some nice pictures as the sun was going down and the lights were coming on.

The Water Show at the Bellagio was fabulous. With 2014 coming to an end we did a little shopping and played a little at a couple of Casinos along the Boulder Hwy. We played at Sam’s Town and Arizona Charlie’s where we found a nice little nickel machine that paid off pretty good but started taking it back so we decided to head home. We met some new friends Kathy Orr and Michael Smith here in the park an got together to play a game of Mexican Train. Nice folks and that was fun. The next day, thinking that little nickel machine was so much fun for so little money, we went back on New Years Eve, but the whole wall of nickel machines were totally full of people… SO we waited a while and I finally got a seat but didn't do any good. Oh well can’t win ‘em all... so we went home. Brought in the new year with my Honey Bunny and Cricket, safe and sound. I really wanted to go down to the Fremont Street for the fireworks and bring in the new year, BUT after seeing the crowd of people from last year on the local news I changed my mind real quick! I just can not take those big crowds anymore.

Happy New Year everyone…

Until next time…. Happy Trails and Safe Travels.
